Our enrolment process is designed to be as smooth as possible. In June, you will receive your enrolment invitation by email and/or WhatsApp message including a date and timeframe based on your chosen course and surname.
What to bring to enrolment:
What to expect at enrolment:
You are welcome to bring a maximum of 2 people with you. This can be a parent, guardian, social worker or supporter. It is a busy time of year and parking is extremely limited so we do advise keeping your enrolment party small!
If you have changed your mind about your course choice, please discuss this at your on-campus enrolment. We will do our best to accommodate changes, subject to availability and entry requirements.
At enrolment, you will be given a booklet with a course card attached. This will include your start date, what time to arrive and where to go when you get here – please keep this safe! You will receive your full timetable during Welcome Week.

Don’t worry! Our expert tutors and careers team will be on hand during the enrolment period. We will work with you to explore alternative courses, different levels of study, or discuss other pathways to help you achieve your goals. Please still attend your scheduled enrolment appointment.
It’s not too late! While we encourage early applications, you can still apply online. We will do our best to find the right course for you, subject to availability and entry requirements. If you apply in August but do not hear back from a member of our Admissions team, don’t panic! It’s a busy time of year so it may take a little longer to get back to you. Please still attend enrolment on your preferred course date and a member of our team will be able to support you on the day.
Depending on your household income, you may be eligible for financial support with travel costs, equipment, kit and Free College Meals. You will need to apply online. Our Student Services team will also be available during enrolment to discuss your eligibility.
To ensure appropriate support is in place as early as possible, please apply in advance of enrolment (Bursary applications will open July 2025):
If you have declared a learning difficulty, disability, or require additional learning support, our Additional Learning Support (ALS) Team will be available at enrolment to discuss your individual needs.
To ensure appropriate provisions are in place from day one, please complete our ALS Questionnaire ahead of enrolment:
If you receive any exam access arrangements, for example a scribe, reader or use of a laptop during exams, please email your evidence documents to our Exams Access Coordinator seimon.hodges@brooklands.ac.uk ahead of enrolment, or alternatively bring them with you. Our Coordinator will then discuss these with you on the day.
Details on how to find the college and public transport links are available on our Travelling to College page.
Parking is extremely limited and we recommend using public transport where possible. Weybridge train station is a short 5-minute walk from the college and there are also local bus routes. Blue badge holder parking is available on campus.
We look forward to welcoming you to Brooklands Technical College in August! If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our friendly Admissions Team.
